A couple of my friends recently replaced their Facebook profile pictures with their favorite childhood cartoon character. Since I don’t want to be left behind… I have decided to join the fun! Hence, I’ll be using Huckleberry Finn as my picture for the entire month of December. =0)
This is the trend spreading throughout Facebook users where some status updates say that the objective of the game is to support or celebrate the Week for Children’s Right. Others indicated a specific date in their shout outs when this cartoon profile pic will end. Regardless, I think it’s not a bad idea to do so since every user has control of their own profile picture settings. Besides, it’s pretty fun reminiscing our favorite cartoon characters in the past.
I remember when I was a kid I always cry whenever I fail to see the tagalized episodes of Princess Sarah, Cedie, Huck Finn, Mary and The Secret Garden, and others. I also remember the days when (even) our mom will watch with us because these cartoon series have inspiring, and at the same time impressive, plot…plus, they're cartoons! And that means a lot for kids like me. (“>)
And just to share with you, I was planning to use this picture but I don’t think it’s appropriate for children to see. (pun intended of course!)
